DESCRIPTION

Based on your capabilities, expressed interest, and stated availability, your day-to-day will consist largely of business development, project management, and client relationship management. You will work closely with Consultants and Associates. When staffed on an engagement, you will be responsible for creating reports, presentations, and research to fulfill deliverables. As a VCG Member, you will act as an independent contractor under the umbrella of VCG. As Venturitas is an early-stage startup, you will work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to shape both domestic and international strategy.

VCG Business Consultants help clients reform their operations and support their business by providing intuitive guidance. You will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change and improvement and needs help as to where and how. EXPECTATIONS

  • Collaborate with product design and engineering to develop an understanding of needs
  • Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
  • Communicate findings to all stakeholders
  • Enable smarter business processes—and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  • Work as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities and work closely with the engineering team to strategize and execute the development of data products
  • Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various domains and industries
  • Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers.
  • Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems

EXPECTATIONS

  • Building out our adaptive learning capabilities and algorithms in conjunction with our data scientists.
  • Create machine learning systems using analytics, performance and monitoring, running tests and experiments as required
  • Implementing changes and updates dependent on tests and analysis accordingly.
  • Deploy forecasting algorithms that affect pertinent KPIs
  • Manage data science prototypes and choose associated datasets and representation methods
  • Advance our existing Machine Learning frameworks to implement current algorithms and associated tools.
  • Stay up to date on burgeoning Machine Learning developments that may affect our business going forward.
  • Implement Machine Learning Engineer frameworks and initiatives.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or an associated discipline (Master’s and/or PhD. a plus).
  • Previous experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar position.
